Description

In KeePassX 0.4.3, there was a menu item to generate a password without creating any new entry, it works even when the DB is locked. However, in 2.0 beta 1, that menu item does not exist.

I found that function very useful when I am generating initial password for other users, which I should not keep track of.

I support the issue request.

KeePassXC, a fork of KeePassX, added this in v2.1.0 and refined it later. Maybe KeePassX can backport the changes.

KeePassXC needs to add a shortcut of Ctrl+P. Don't forget this if you backport.

The Ctrl+P shortcut was very handy for accessing this menu entry.
